1) What IS MLM?
MLM is an acronym and means Mulit-Level Marketing. It is synonymous with the term “network marketing”. You either sell a product or a service and also teach and train others about the business’s opportunity. When other’s join and start their own business, you earn a percentage of the new customers and marketers they bring in. In this way, you have a vested interest in helping others become successful- your success is determined by the success of those you prospect.
2) Is MLM legal?
Multi-level marketing is 100% legal. Despite many people’s perception, there are more legit companies in network marketing than not. It is the few ‘scams’ in the industry that earned it a bad reputation. Like any business, make sure to do your due diligence. Research the company, products or services, and compensation plan. If any of it seems “off”, don’t do it, but also don’t run away from MLM. There are many great opportunities out there, and turning your head to the industry would be like quitting dating after one bad experience with the date your mother set you up with.
3) How do I choose a company?
The best way to find a company to build with is by deciding what will excite you. What kind of products or services do you use? What is important to you? There is more than likely a company that offers exactly what you are looking for. Also, check out the company’s system that they provide for your success. Talk to marketers already in the business, and also use your “gut” to help you decide. Do people actually make money in an MLM?
4) Do people actually make money in MLMs?
Of course! It does take work, and like any business must be taken seriously. MLMs offer a way to make large amounts of money monthly, but there aren’t any shortcuts. It will take time, effort, and an open mind to become successful. Many people work their business more like a hobby, and it just won’t work this way. Consistent hard work will pay off however in this business.
5) What’s the secret to success in MLMs?
There isn’t a secret, but one of the biggest tips is to follow the system your upline or company teaches you. Be realistic in your goals and expectations, be persistent, and nurture your business like any other business (hard work and time/sacrifice). Turn your head from negativity, and remember he who talks to the most people wins!

I think it is a very valid point about the comments with a valid point to make. If all you are trying to do is build a truck full of backlinks with nothing to offer, what will make the reader come to your site whether no1 comment or no102. The idea of commenting has become a single battlefield for pro marketers to build their backlinks without using any brain power against people who are genuinely interested in getting their point across in a constructive way so the reader wants to visit their site to see what makes them tick.I have only been involved in the blogging sphere for a very short time, and I must say, I find the comments part of increasing frustration when just spammy trash is entered. However I think it works both ways.The blogger has to have the same comitment to reading the replies as to the original blog post, and to that end should ensure the replies are as valid as the content. The atmosphere is changing rapidly out in the consumer search arena, and if the bloggers don’t run with the virtues extolled, then they will find themselves disappearing as quickly as they rose.
