Do you ever get stuck as to what to say and how to prospect business builders into your business? Many of us are taught to call our warm and hot market. But what do you do when these leads dry out? You are left staring at the phone that isn’t ringing or the white screen on your computer.
We have many opportunities when we are out shopping or doing errands that we might see someone that seems dynamic. Maybe it’s a waiter who gave you fantastic service. Or, a car salesman who just demonstrated a knack to find out your needs and matched you into the right vehicle. It could be a parent who seems incredibly dynamic and social. Maybe it is a teacher or coach that all the other parents and students respect.
The dilemma is not in noticing potential prospects. It is in taking the next step. What do we say? How do we open that door to the opportunity and see if they are even the right fit for your business?

Complementing your prospect is the building block to the next step in the offer. Knowing what this person is good at and how this skill is an asset to the business is important to your invite. Most often when you start from this position and come from a place of sincerity, you will always get a yes.
Once you learn this key to the invite, you will most definitely get many people to say yes. However, like many people, my husband and I neglected to ask a few key follow up questions. So while we thought the door was open, it was really closed. When we began using these few questions in our prospecting, we stopped wasting our time and spending it with the right people.
